Tender and Procurement Opportunities

At Broadland Housing Group, we rely on good relationships with various different housing partners, suppliers, and contractors to help us deliver our aims and objectives on behalf of our clients.

Central to the development and maintenance of these relationships is our Procurement team, which plays a vital role in helping us to deliver on our many organisational goals.

What is Procurement?

Procurement involves the acquisition of works, services and goods, which together enable us, as a dedicated housing association, to meet the many different needs of our tenants with a view to improving their life opportunities through the provision of excellent quality housing.

The range of goods and services for which our procurement team is responsible is wide and diverse and includes anything from stationery items, to food supplies, to delivery of development projects.

However, as an organisation that exists for the betterment of the lives of the tenants it serves, at Broadland Housing Group we will always, where appropriate, try to ensure that tenant consultation and social value are incorporated into the process as much as possible.

Who are our suppliers?

Broadland Housing Group has a wide range of requirements which we need suppliers to assist us in delivering; these suppliers tend to be just as wide and diverse as the requirements themselves and they are too numerous to mention.

Of course, as we strive to deliver best value for money in all of the many goods and services we procure, our list of suppliers will always change as better value alternatives become available.

Tendering Opportunities

All requirements and opportunities to do business with Broadland Housing Group with an expected value in excess of £25,000 will be advertised on the UK Government’s procurement portal called Contracts Finder.

We recommend registering and regularly checking Contracts Finder for any new tender opportunities as once new opportunities become available, this is where they will be requested. A separate notice for opportunities above the appropriate EU threshold will continue to be published via Tenders Electronic Daily.

If you would like to be invited to apply for new contract opportunities, you can also email your company information, together with details of the type of work you wish to tender for, to our procurement team at procurement@broadlandgroup.org.
